Description

This is a flocculent Galaxy in Bootes. I found the galaxy on a wide field picture from another group I recently imaged.
After month without DS I had a least two nights with reasonable conditions. There were still high clouds passing through (Cirrus).
The Galaxy is in a distance of 133 Mio Lj and has a diameter of ar. 60.000 Lj. This is a so called "low surface brightness Galaxy" according to Aladin-CDS portal.
The surface brightness is 15,5 mag and the visible diameter is 1,48 x 0,81 arcmin.
This is now one of the  first DS picture again since some month.
I could not find any information about this galaxy on Astrobin, therefore I assume it´s a "astrobin debut".
